Stupid medicine

I CANNOT medicate Copper. She won't cooperate even the minimal amount I'd need to get the applicator in her mouth! I bundled her up this morning after putting the pill in the plunger. I put her on a counter, wedged her under my armpit and tried to pull her head back. Nothing doing. She fought every inch. She managed to raise her chest up just enough to prevent her mouth from opening at all. If I took one hand away to get the pill, she'd twist her head until she could bury it in the towel. It isn't worth the trauma to her to keep trying to give her the pill this way. I ended up crushing it and putting it in her food. emmalyon had a good way to crush the pill: in a ziplock with a rolling pin. I just hope it is ok that way. She ate all of it as she ate all of her food.
