I finally got the TiVo plugged into the network, but the adapter isn't supported by the current TiVo OS. I submitted a request to have it update, but it takes up to three days to install.
I finished moving the computer furniture in the living room and got everything vacuumed, but at the end, the vacuum stopped working. I think the roller is stuck from all the long hair wrapped around it, so I'll have to take it apart again. While I was cleaning, I dropped a hard drive on my foot. I didn't break anything, but it did break the skin and it hurts. I yelled and cursed a bit when it happened and again when I washed my foot. Fortunately, inochinoakari and cr4ckdr34m upstairs heard nothing. If something happens downstairs and I end up dying in a pool of blood, at least I know they won't be disturbed.
I got the older computer and stereo system hooked up again. Unfortunately, there's a weird feedback in the computer speakers and the recording software is no longer installed on that machine. I tried to plug the stereo into the newer computer, but can't get the recording software to find the input. I'll try again on the older computer after installing the software. I may need a new soundcard or speaker system on the old computer to fix the feedback problem though.
