In case anyone was wondering what hagbardc and I were talking about in the comments section of the previous post, I'll explain here.

There is a show called 7 second delay on WFMU that is two very silly men talking about nothing. On yesterday's show Proverbial Debates (scroll down a bit for the link to listen), they decided to debate in honor of the Presidential debates. The debated such topics as "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" and several German proverbs, like "Don't hurt animals for fun". They also debated "Ken (one of the djs) doesn't understand a word of English".

After awhile, they decided to let the listeners call in and debate such things as "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" and others. They then proceeded to argue about the rules and the need for rules.

Truly, a wonderful show.

In the spirit of being bored:

I just realized if you go to WFMU they have a random saying on the main page. Every time you go there or refresh it is new!

  • Our music doesn't fall through the cracks, it is the cracks
  • Because you can handle the truth
  • Tell Kenneth we know the frequency
  • Where we're always starting thing that we

Yes, I'm bored. Why do you ask?
