Went Well

Morning idiocy

This morning, emilytheslayer has no more classes, but was kind enough to get out of bed early and drive me to the train station. She dropped me off and as she drove away, I checked my pocket to make sure I had my train pass. To my horror, I realized I'd left my wallet on the shelf next to the computer. As I realized this, I saw emilytheslayer turn the corner and head home. I would have called her, but my phone was sitting next to my wallet.
Nothing for it then, I walked back to the apartment, missing the train.
I'm pleased that she was also kind enough to drive me to the train station a second time where I caught the 8:05. At least it gave me some exercise (that I should have gotten in the first place by walking to the train station) and a chance to have breakfast.

Programming concepts

These are very high level concepts, you don't need to know any programming really to read this and comment. Please don't wander off just because I'm talking about programming, I'd like opinions.

Was I wrong? If so, I'm sorry.
Eating Tiger

At the moon

Last night I made spaghetti.

Nothing to that really, but the sauce is always an adventure. I wanted to make a thicker sauce than usual, so I used 1 large and 1 small can of tomato sauce, 1 large can of tomato paste and 1 can of water. I misjudged the final quantity a little and nearly had too much for the saucepan. Thinking "Wow, this is a LOT of sauce" I made my error, I increased the amount of spices I used in the sauce. I might be leaving something out, but it consisted of: 3 cloves crushed garlic, some garlic powder, black pepper, salt, onion powder, oregano, basil flakes and bay leaves.

And there was my mistake. I think. I used 2 Bay leaves. I should have stuck with 1. Unless the taste I didn't like came from the Paste. It was a bitter, acidic taste. If I'm describing it correctly.

Ah well, I'll try something different next time anyway. The adventure continues!
