SSN Card or valid, current U.S. or Non-U.S. Passport
Document proving date of birth
Document proving signature
Document proving Massachusetts residency
Out-of-state License* (may also be used as a Primary document to prove date of birth or signature, but cannot be used for both)
OK, no problem. I have my SSN card and my license and my electric bill. That should be fine, but wait! My license can only be used to verify date of birth OR signature. What can I use to verify the other? Wow, look at that, nowhere on the web site does it give examples of what constitutes "proof". I tried calling them and their phone essentially just reads off the web site. You can't get a person.
So now I figure I'll go to the DMV, I'll fill everything out and be told I can't do it today ensuring I'll have to go back next week. Fun! Welcome to MA, now fuck off!
