When I moved, I only partly dismantled the basement shelves, folding them instead. I think I'm going to spend some time at the storage facility taking them apart the rest fo the way, they'll stack much better and can likely fit in the other bookshelves.
I'm also trying to decide what to do with my old Christmas Tree. It is the one my family had when I was a kid, making the tree almost 30 years old, I think.
What should I do with the tree?
If I do any of the options where I get rid of it, I can always buy a new fake tree if I ever want one and it'll probably be easier to put together than this one anyway. Of course, there are some people out there who think only "real" trees should be used. Feel free to call it an abomination in the comments section after telling me which way I should dispose of it.
I'm leaning towards getting rid of it as I haven't used it in well over 10 years. I'm hanging on to it mostly because it was my family tree and represents some of the few good times I can remember with my whole family, my father being what he is.
When looking up Regina Spektor on Amazon, I notice a previous album of hers is called Soviet Kitsch, I think I need to check that out.
