I rarely read the comic strip Curtis. If I happen upon a newspaper where the strip runs, I'll read it 'cause in that situation I read every strip in the paper. I read Curtis today and have to ask regular readers a question. Does today's strip make sense to you or is it out of left field?

My initial reaction was that you either need to read Curtis every day or never, ever look at it 'cause if you only look at it occasionally you'll end up thinking "What?" and then have an incoherant jumble of thoughts as simply trying to figure out what's going on will cause your brain to lock up.

Then I thought, maybe even regular readers of the strip are having the same reaction which would make the second choice the only wise policy.
