I sliced a chicken breast into strips, rubbed garlic powder and pepper into them and browned them in a frying pan. I didn't use oil or anything on the pan, though I did add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Then I took half a diced onion, 3 scallions (sliced thin), 1 stalk of celery (also sliced thin) and one medium sized potato (sliced in almost chip-sized thin slices) and poured them over the top.
I let them cook for a little while, added a little more water, salt and pepper and covered them to let everything cook for another 5 minutes.
The potatoes turned out nicely and everything was thoroughly cooked. The garlic permiated everything, as I'd hoped. I garnished the plates with raw green bell peppers, cut into strips. However it was still deemed a little bland.
EDIT: I fixed the post for the parts garrity reminded me I left out.
