We intend to build a game table for down there and hope to do built-in shelves at some point.
Today I travel to see the lovely aliwings and head58. I'll be helping them replace their dryer output hose at some point this weekend. If I get back early enough on Sunday, I'll be helping Rtrockel move stuff from his old place to his new.
Likely in the next few weeks, I'll be helping Rtrockel with this more and helping Pete with his basement again. We have the floor down on one side, now we have to finish the other and replace part of one wall. Then we can tile, touch up the paint and we're done!
For here, I need spackle and to get some touch-up paint. I'll also call the rental people at the beginning of the year and have them replumb inochinoakari's door and unstick emmalyon's. The plumber-guy came this morning and fixed the tub drain. He found a plastic cap in there, which was likely the main source of slowing the draining, but he also took out lots of hair and MAN that was disgusting. He also showed me how to tighten the tub overflow, which will come in handy.
I've thought about getting certified as a plumber, carpenter and electrician, so I can help people with their home projects more and so I can learn more cool stuff, but I'm not sure how to go about it or how much it would require.
I think I'll go to the dump today just before I leave for MA. It closes at 3, so that should be fine.
